The Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Family and Community Outreach, is pleased to announce five (5) Florida 21st Century Community Learning Centers Funding Workshops. These workshops have been specifically designed for new agencies and organizations that wish to apply for 2009-2010 21st CCLC funds.
The Funding Workshops will provide an overview of the 21st CCLC grant opportunity, including requirements and additional information helpful in preparing a 21st CCLC grant application. Any public or private organization that intends to write or administer a 21st CCLC grant is encouraged to attend one of the five Funding Workshops. Agencies and organizations eligible to apply for funds under the 21st CCLC program include, but are not limited to: school districts, educational consortia, non-profit agencies, city or county government agencies, faith-based organizations, institutions of higher education, and for profit organizations
Due to limited space availability, participants must register and receive a confirmation before attending the workshop of their choice. Early registration is highly encouraged, as we expect the workshops to fill up quickly. To register for one of the three locations, please direct your browser to the following: http://data.fldoe.org/register/21century.
Questions or concerns regarding the workshops should be directed to Dr. Charles Byrd at cbyrd@hhp.ufl.edu or to Mr. Zack Gibson at 850-922-2575.
